SINGLES EMPOWERMENT GROUP
Do you feel stuck in the same dating patterns?
A therapist-facilitated group to help understand your patterns, break repeating cycles, and approach dating with clarity.
A Note From Han Yang | Relationship Therapist
Registered Counsellor (KB12632, PA12243)
Many of us feel that dating is something we have to "fix." We read books, listen to podcasts, and try to optimise our dating app profiles, hoping that if we just get the strategy right, the connection will follow.
But often, the barriers aren't strategic - they are emotional. They are rooted in patterns we may not fully see, but definitely feel: the anxiety when someone pulls away, the boredom when relationships feel calm, or the exhaustion of constantly trying to prove our worth.
This group is an opportunity for us to pause and reflect. Instead of rushing to find a partner, we focus on understanding the one person you bring to every relationship: you.
What this group is

How this group works
This is a semi-structured, process-led group. That means while we will have guided discussions and agendas to work on, much of the learning happens in the ‘here and now’.
We learn by paying attention to what comes up in the room - our reactions to others, our hesitation to speak, or even our desire to ‘fix’ things. These moments often mirror how we show up interpersonally in our romantic lives.
